राज विद्या गुह्य योग
The Yoga of Royal and Secret Knowledge
Shri Krishna said, “I will impart the highest knowledge on you. This knowledge, which is not known to many, will help free you from the constraints of the Sansar (material world).
This knowledge is the supreme purifier. It is guided by Dharma, easy to pursue, imperishable and easy to understand. This knowledge helps one realize the liberation from miseries, therefore it is called Raj Vidya (the greatest knowledge). This knowledge is not available to those who are not mentally prepared and purified. It remains secret/unknown to them, therefore it is called Raj Guhyam (secret).
Bhagwan says: “The entire universe is pervaded by me in an un-manifested form. I bring forth and support all beings with the help of my maya. Just like a wind rests in space, all beings dwell in me. Under my supervision, nature causes the world to revolve around cycles of birth, growth, and death; but these acts do not bind me.
The knowers of the Vedas are those who worship me praying for safe passage to heaven. However, once their merit is exhausted, they return to the world (re-birth)
अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते ;
तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम् || २२ ||
Anannyashchintyanto maam ye janaa paryupaasate ;
Tesham nityabhiyuktaanam yogakshemam vahaamyaham ||22||
There are devotees who constantly think of me and engage in exclusive devotion to me. I guide them to obtain what they lack in the journey of life and preserve what they already possess.
पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो में भक्त्या प्रयच्छति ;
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः || २६ ||
Patram pushpam phalam toyam yo men bhaktya prayachchati
Tadaham bahktyuprhrutamshnami prayaatatmanah
I delightfully accept a pure-minded devotee’s offering whether it is a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water. I accept the offering, even though it is a very mediocre offering, as it is offered with true love (Bhakti).
शुभाशुभफ लैरेवं मोक्षसे कर्मबंधनै: ;
संन्यासयोगयुक्तात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि || २८ ||
Shubhashubhphalairevam mokshyase karmabandhanaih;
Sanyaasyogayuktatma vimukto maamuapishyasi ||28||
No matter what action you perform, what you offer what you donate, or what austerity you practice, do it as an offering to me (Bhagwan). With that spirit of action, you will be freed from the bondage of actions (in the form of good or bad results).
